En 2012, le Barbican Centre de Londres accueillait une installation étonnante signée Random International, studio d’art expérimental attaché aux questions d’identité et d’autonomie face à l’âge post-digital.

« As you progress through the space the sound of water and a suggestion of moisture fill the air, before you are confronted by this carefully choreographed downpour that responds to your movements and presence. » Random International

Les oeuvres du studio Random International invitent le visiteur à vivre des expériences uniques, parmi lesquelles la Rain Room ne fait pas figure d’exception. Dans la pénombre, il traverse une averse dont il ressort complètement sec : sous ses pas, la pluie cesse, l’eau s’écarte et l’homme devient maître de la nature.
